I am envious of your island adventure project. An island is a world in itself. A place where you can forget the outer world. I have visited many islands around the world. Every one is different. An idea - why not try Sunk Island east of Hull - not really a proper island any more but intrinsically still insular and different. Happy Christmas!

Great idea! I'd never heard of Sunk Island until you mentioned it. It's an interesting idea you've raised, about whether an island can only be created geographically or whether it's a place of remoteness, isolation and sense of being cut-off.
